Position Overview:
collab9 was recently awarded a NASPO contract & is pursuing a GSA Schedule Contract. To further leverage its growth opportunities, collab9 seeks a Government Contracts Manager (GCM) to actively manage the company's customer-facing contracts & associated processes. In this key role, the GCM will be responsible for analyzing / negotiating / maintaining company contract requirements, terms & conditions & ensuring compliance with appropriate laws & regulations.
Geography:
Strong preference for this GCM position to be based out of company’s Los Angeles Corporate Office, but will consider out-of-state/virtual (such as Washington, D.C. area) if candidate is sufficiently qualified.
Reports To: Matrix reporting to both the Director – Operations and the CEO
Supervises: None
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
Essential Job Duties:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or management.
• 6-8 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager with demonstrated expert knowledge of contracting concepts, FAR, Agency Supplements (e.g., DFARS, DARS, GSAM, etc.), & applicable U.S. laws (NASPO-specific government contract experience highly desirable).
• Strong oral & written communication with the ability to negotiate contracts & work with all levels of staff.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize with excellent time management skills.
• Must pass background check (drug & criminal).

Essential Job Duties:
- Support overall contract functions, including but not limited to: analyzing/interpreting contract requirements, special provisions, terms & conditions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, corporate policies & business unit procedures.
- Review NDAs & TAs.
- Review solicitations & prepare responses for proposals, bids & contract modifications.
- Prepare bids & assists in negotiating specifications & contractual provisions.
- Prepare & administer the necessary correspondence, negotiating memoranda & contract documentation to ensure timely & coordinated submittals.
- Accelerate the process of contract/deal negotiation by facilitating & managing the development, structuring, negotiation, & closure of complex deals; includes aiding in the preparation of contractual provisions & the administration of contract proposals.
- Perform risk assessment of requested terms on operational impacts.
- Provide audit & fact finding support.
- Prepare, organize & maintain contract records & files documenting contract performance, compliance & contract closeout; includes maintaining inventory of contracts summaries for quick reference & identification.
- Work collaboratively with all functional areas (e.g., sales, accounting, program management) to ensure timely submission of contract deliverables.
- Interact with multiple departments & management team members as needed to support business unit contracting trends, growth & customer renewal opportunities.
